Programs in Southern Metropolitan Region
The SMR is responsible for the planning, funding and delivery of a wide range of housing and community programs in Melbourne’s south-east. We provide public, community and social housing and homelessness services, child protection services, support for young people involved in the youth justice system, assistance for people with disability. The regional office also has statewide responsibility for the family records and intercountry adoption services and the refugee minor program.
