Children Youth & Families
Children, Youth and Families focuses on the health, safety, development, learning and wellbeing of children, young people and families in Victoria.
Services include:

- child safety and child protection
- family services
- adoption
- out-of-home care
- family violence
- sexual assault
Client Outcomes
Working with key stakeholders within the Department, region and across government and the human services sector, the Client Outcomes Unit is responsible for driving improved service outcomes for clients, with particular emphasis on social inclusion and service integration.
The unit undertakes specialized work in the areas of high risk and complex clients, including the MACNI program, high risk tenancies and housing support. The unit provides specialist advice on individualized approaches to Programs. The unit is responsible for community strengthening, client participation and service planning including managing bushfire transition activities across the region.
Corporate Services and People Development
The Corporate Services and People Development program is responsible for the delivery of the Region’s financial services, budget reporting, information systems, emergency management, people strategy and a wide range of administrative services and functions. The program has lead responsibility in driving a modern business structure that is responsive and adaptive to the needs of regional staff.
Disability Services, Housing & Community Building
Disability Services works in partnership with families, carers, non-government and government service providers to advance the wellbeing and quality of life of people with disabilities.
Housing and Community Building provides public and social housing and support for those most in need. This includes homelessness and crisis support and affordable rental housing.
