The Office of Housing is responsible for providing appropriate, affordable and secure housing assistance for low-income people living in Victoria.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining tenancies
- Providing support and information to clients on services
- Identifying and assessing clients housing needs and eligibility for services
- Allocating properties to eligible applicants
- Visiting and working with tenants
- Ensuring maintenance work is carried out
Qualifications
There are no mandatory qualifications required. However, qualifications within the community services training package are desirable.
Salary
- Housing Services Officer Grade 1 (HSO1) $40,771-$46,564
- Housing Services Officer Grade 2 (HSO2) $47,390-$59,223
- Housing Services Officer Grade 3 (HSO3) $60,378-$64,962
