The Office of Housing is responsible for providing appropriate, affordable and secure housing assistance for low-income people living in Victoria.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining tenancies
  • Providing support and information to clients on services
  • Identifying and assessing clients housing needs and eligibility for services
  • Allocating properties to eligible applicants
  • Visiting and working with tenants
  • Ensuring maintenance work is carried out

Qualifications

There are no mandatory qualifications required. However, qualifications within the community services training package are desirable.

Salary

  • Housing Services Officer Grade 1 (HSO1) $40,771-$46,564
  • Housing Services Officer Grade 2 (HSO2) $47,390-$59,223
  • Housing Services Officer Grade 3 (HSO3) $60,378-$64,962
