Have your say on carer support - Department of Social Services

To support and sustain the vital work of unpaid carers, a draft Service Delivery Model for a proposed new carer support service system has been developed.

The focus of the draft Service Delivery Model is to provide more services to more carers, with the aim to reach carers earlier in their caring journey in order to sustain them by providing supports that build their capacity, reduce strain, enable increased participation in education and the workforce and ultimately improve wellbeing.

Feedback on the draft Service Delivery Model can be provided via an online survey, or through making a written submission. Once finalised, the draft Service Delivery Model will form the basis of a proposal for Government consideration.
