Action Plan Consultation Framework - Addressing Violence against Women and their Children

22 January 2012

The Victorian Government is developing a three year Action Plan to address all forms of violence against women and their children.

The Government has launched a period of consultation to inform the development of the Action Plan, which will set out objectives, areas of focus and action into the future.

Ultimately, our aim is a Victoria in which women and their children live free from violence. To start to make that a reality, the Action Plan will set out concrete steps to prevent violence, intervene earlier where women and their children may be at risk and provide effective responses when violence has occurred.

The views of experts in the field and women who have experienced violence are vital to ensuring we have the best possible plan for the future. Therefore, feedback is being sought on all aspects of the Consultation Framework.
