White Ribbon Day - Melbourne CBD
White Ribbon is the only national violence against women prevention campaign. It is unique in that it aims to raise awareness among Australian men and boys about the roles they can play to prevent violence against women.
In Australia, one in three women will be assaulted or
abused in her lifetime.
60 women and 20 children are killed each year in Australia in incidents of family violence homicide with many more physically and/or emotionally abused.
