Disability Services Initiative Adoption Permanent Care guidelines

The Adoption and Permanent Care (A&PC) program is responsible for placing children whose parents wish to relinquish them for adoption. It also places children who are clients of the child protection service and who have a case plan for permanent care.

The Disability Initiative in Adoption and Permanent Care (DSIAPC) assists the A&PC program to provide a service to permanent care and adoptive parents of children with a disability or developmental delay that is flexible and responsive to individual children's needs, consistent with the Individual Planning and Support approach of Disability Services.
