Disability policy and information manual

This information manual is to be used by all disability service providers. All staff need to familiarise themselves with the manual, as it underpins the program specific policies and operating procedures that will provide detailed guidance in relation to specific areas.

The Policy and information manual provides further information for disability service providers, including an overview of the Disability Act 2006, the policy context, provision of information, privacy, culturally appropriate practice and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

The manual has been updated to reflect the Disability Amendment Act 2012 and includes chapters on:
