Premier's Drug Prevention Council
The Premier's Drug Prevention Council was established in March 2001, after a joint Parliamentary sitting on drugs was held. The aims of the Council are to review existing and new drug education and prevention activities, provide Government with authoritative advice and recommendations on strategic directions for best practice prevention of illicit and licit drug use and foster a better understanding of drug prevention issues

Mental Health & Drugs Division
The Mental Health and Drugs Division is a new division within DHS. It is comprised of the Mental Health and Drugs Policy Branches, and its functions encompass public sector policy, program, and service and workforce development in relation to mental health and drug matters.
